Hand Therapy Position Wanted (Part-time/ Flexible hours)

I have recently returned to SA after almost 5 years of working in the UK. I have just started working as a Kindermusik Therapist and am also seeking out opportunities to work in Hands Therapy.

Whilst overseas, a highlight was working in an acute Hands Therapy Team for 6 months whilst at Cambridge University Teaching Hospital (i.e. Addenbrooke's Hospital). At the time, I was in a rotational post; therefore I worked on many other wards and gained a wide range of work experience. After being promoted to and working as a Senior OT in the Neuro-Rehab & Outreach Team, I left Addenbrooke's and worked in the North City Cambridge Community Therapy Team until the end of last year.

In terms of Hands experience, you could say I only scratched the surface. However I have a keen interest in Hands Therapy which I have found most enjoyable and rewarding! I also have a strong motivation to further develop my clinical skills in this specialist area.

I would be delighted to hear of any vacancies available in the Johannesburg/ surrounding areas. I would also possibly consider opportunities in other parts of the country and am available from 1st April 2010.
