How to Gain an Accredited Hand Therapist [BAHT] Certificate

Application Criteria

  • OT / Physiotherapist
  • Member of BAHT
  • 12 BAHT Point
  • 4 000 Clinical Hours in Hand Therapy

How Do You Achieve 12 BAHT Points?

Level I [1 Point] (i) Successful completion of a Level I BAHT validated course
OR
(ii) At least 2 years full time experience working in Hand Therapy
   
Level II [6 Points] (i) 2 points each for successful completion of a Level II BAHT validated course
(ii) Awarded points via Accreditation of Prior Learning [APL]
(iii) Awarded points as BAHT Educator
Points can be made up with the successful completion of three Level II course, three applications for APL point, BAHT Educator points or any combination of these three
Level III [5 Points] (i) Successful completion of Level III submission, either through validation or APL

 

Once 12 points are achieved you can apply to the BAHT Education Subcommittee, including a clinical log of your hours, proof of your points and a CV.
