The competition is open to members of the public.
A maximum of 3 photographs per person may be entered.
R30 per photograph entered
This amount should be paid into the SASHT bank account and proof of payment should accompany the entry.

Photographs entered should be printed as an A4 photo print (8 x 12 inch or 8 x 10 inch) and also submitted in digital format on a CD. Photos on the CD should be 3MB - 5MB.
The following information should appear on a white piece of paper pasted to the BACK of the photograph.
The prize giving will take place at the Annual SASSH Congress.
The 12 best pictures will be printed in a 12 page photo calendar that will be for sale at the Annual SASSH Congress.
Prizes will be sponsored by the supporting Trade Companies and will include photographic equipment and much more.
INDEMNITY
All photographs must be the entrant's original work. The winner will not only be judged on the photographic quality but also on the subject matter, composition, etc. All photos must the entrant's own material and SASHT will not carry liabilities for any copyright infringements.
All entrants must be willing to have their photographs reproduced by SASHT for use on the calendar, for exhibition at the congress, and possible use on the SASHT website, posters, brochures and/or other relevant material with acknowledgement to the photographer.
The judges' decision is final. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash and no correspondence will be entered into.
ENTRY FORMS
The information supplied will only be used for purposes of administering this competition, unless SASHT is obliged or permitted by law to disclose it. To be eligible for a prize, entrants must supply full details as required and comply with the Competition Rules. SASHT will accept no responsibility for illegible entries or entries fraudulently made.
Entries have to be posted to ensure that the entry reaches the postal address provided by SASHT by the entry deadline on 31 May 2010. No entries will be accepted after this deadline. A receipt will be issued to participants when an entry has been received.
